Baipho Lifestyle Boutique Hotel & Suites Phuket

I found this hotel among the list in asiarooms and omg, i've fallen in love with it (because the pictures so pretty lah, haha) Anyway, i've checked and the price fits well. Delux Twin Room $85 per night. So ya average out to be 170 per person for 4 nights lor. (I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE, CAN WE BOOK THIS ONE?!) they have very limited rooms like less than 10 so i'll prob be emailing them to ask if there are still vacancies.

i think staying in a boutique hotel is so much more interesting than staying in normal ones, no? Anyway, here's the link to the hotel webpage .

One thing to add though, i think its new so it has no reviews in asiarooms. But cross referencing to other webpages, reviews are positive. Alright, putting this up for reference when we meet again so i won't forget about this hotel choice admist so many other stuff in my brain right now. See you guys on friday! Good luck to those havin exams soon yup. & does yaolong, yl, zq visit at all ah? aiyos.

PS: I've emailed via the booking form to ask if there are still vacancies for the dates that we're going. Waiting for their replies. And I realize all the rooms have king size beds so no worries about adding extra beds. I'm sure king size fits 3 person more than enough right. Shall update once i receive updates from Baipho Boutique hotel.

Decision between the two

Okay, I'm sick of seeing the same old post so I shall try to do something about the accomodation. Delon and I did our research on asiarooms.com (one of the most reliable source for hotels booking, really) and here're our recommendations. I think we can pick one of the two because ..

1. They are both in Patong Beach (which I strongly recommend since it's more happening and re nao, even though peng mention about higher probability of bombs but, WONT SO SUAY BAH)
2. They have more than 150 reviews, which is the most out of the entire list for Patong beach hotels.
3. They are relatively affordable.
4. They are both near the beach, at most 15-20 mins walk.

Anyway, I have questions. Do you guys want to ..
  • Stay in twin rooms (2 person per room)
  • Stay in triple rooms (3 person per room)
  • Stay in triple rooms (4 person per room, is it allowed huh?)
To be honest, I'm actually quite willing to fork out abit more money to stay more comfortably. Because the hotels is usually what I look forward most in every trip :) So since I don't know which option you guys want, I'll state the price for all 3 options for each hotel. See, I'm so nice.

1. Royal Paradise hotel Phuket (Link)

The Royal Paradise Hotel in Phuket is located at an hour's drive away from the Phuket International Airport and at a maximum walking distance of 15 to 20 minutes away from such popular beaches as the Kata Beach, the Karon Beach and the Patong Beach.

For 4 nights
Price per person if 2 person per twin room: $236
Price per person if 3 person per triple room: $206
Price per person if 4 person per triple room (if allowed) : $154

ps: but somehow, delon manage to find this disturbing information.
"i reading the commments of royal paradise hotel, its in the middle of gay paradise!"

2.
Deevana Patong Resort and Spa hotel Phuket (Link)

The Deevana Patong Resort & Spa provides you the ultimate experience in relaxation de-stressing and is a virtual tropical oasis. The resort is only 45 minutes from Phuket International Airport, and is a10 minutes walk to Patong beach.

For 4 nights
Price per person if 2 person per twin room: $174
Price per person if 3 person per triple room: $162
Price per person if 4 person per triple room (if allowed) : $121

Oh yah forgot to say, the room apartments for each room i chose is the cheapest kind lah. For example if they have family rooms, standard rooms, superior wings, I only took the lowest price from all the options, get it?

You guys can further explore by looking at the reviews, I've provided the link beside each hotels. What you guys think of this 2 hotels? Or maybe someone else have better suggestions. I recommend Deevana lah, the reviews are quite good and its affordable. We prob have to book soon, if not no more slots lah.

Anyway, keep 5th dec and 6th dec that few days free first (peng, u end exams on 5th right?) Delon's parents will be away overseas so we can probably bring our lappies and everyting to his place to plan itinery, book and just settle everything there for the entire day. Because I reckon macdonalds aint very conducive. I'll let you guys know the date again, when the dumbdumb army boys get their schedule.

But then again, I really think 5th/6th is really tooooo last minute. That's like 4 days before departure lor. But then, peng and yilin got exams right? Unless you guys don't mind the rest of us gather and erm, leave you alone to mug haha. but seriously, the room availability is running low, according to delon's research and we really should stop procrastinating. Mil, when does your work end ah?

I really shouldn't be typing all these when my first paper starts in 15 hours. Screams.

signing out,
the lovable prawn.

Accomodation Matters

Okay, now that the tickets are booked, its time to do something about accomodation. From what we shortlisted, I did some research and realize the two which we shortlisted (Royal Paradise / Karon Princess) is on different beach.

Hmm, need you guys to decide. You guys wanna stay on Patong Beach a busy, happening, where all the hustle and bustle happens (night market, night clubs etc) or Karon Beach where its more relaxed, quiet and empty. From what I gathered, this are the two beaches which are more commonly visited by singaporeans lah. So yah, take a vote. I'm fine for both.

I'm taking sometime out now to do research on Phuket.
Do take some time out to research on your own also hor, like visit Forums or something. Mild, you're leaving on sun???

Check out this blog link for Phuket pictures, she's a fellow mate from a forum i frequent.http://kissesfrombeigirl.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_kissesfrombeigirl_archive.html
Usually they put things like massage, island hopping (can sign up for local packages for island hopping to maya island, phi phi island etc), water sports, shopping at Festival Centre, then some other big shopping centres, and patong markets in their itinerary.
