July Birthday Celebration + The Ultimate Quiz

Dear all,

Please note that the Birthday celebration for the July Babies (peng, yaolong, delon, mel & xia) is confirmed and will be held on the 11th July (Saturday) at Yaolong's house.

Date: 11th July 2009 (Saturday)
Venue: Yaolong's House
Programme: Dinner (Most prob steamboat) + the Ultimate MR quiz.
Time: 6.00 pm Yew Tee MRT to buy stuff. Those who can only come later please inform beforehand.

Hi all,

Events planning ideas reporting to the crew.

1) JB Trip

- Confirmed Attendees includes xia, peng, zq, lon, kel and yaolong.
- Yilin KIV, Mild and Mel can't make it.
- Meet at 10a m Kranji MRT
- Prog: Dimsum, Holiday Plaza, Lunch (Paperwrapped Chicken) , Jusco,
Dinner (Seafood), City Square.
- Most transport by Cab.
- Expect to end at 8-9pm

2) July Birthday Meetup (Together with questionnaire)

Because we have 5 july babies, it totally deserves a meetup.

- Proposing Yaolong's house or Peng's house ( 11th July Saturday evening till late)

I think we have decided not to get presents anymore due to coordination problems. We will just have a nice meal and enjoy each other's accompany :)

if you will like to get gifts as an individual, feel free to do so still :)

3) The Ultimate MR Questionnaire Showdown

- Proposing to have it together with the celebration
- It's the 72 questions questionnaire faceoff time.

4) Mixed Rice Fund

Will start collecting on July, take note Treasurer.
Prepare your money people.
Don't you dare run away, we will hire pig head hangers if we need to.

Do you guys think its about time I started collecting monthly mixedrice fund from everyone?? I calculated if everyone pays $2 per month, by end of 1 year we will have $216, enough to rent a end of year chalet. Or 10 years down the road, we will have $2160 and we will be rich! haha.

Just a thought. Otherwise our mixedrice fund will forever only be enough for us to eat mixedrice.

Time: Tentatively 12.30pm meet at Kranji MRT. Should end at around 8pm.

Programs:

- Famous Paper wrapped chicken and dishes for Lunch
- Da Ma Hua Yuan cheap seafood for Dinner
- Holiday plaza for xia's contacts (sorry ah need my supplies) and dvds
- City Square for movies, jalan jalan or karaoke.

Must buy secret recipe cakes home, its 100% cheaper over there.

Bare Your Sole

Event Reminder - Bare your Sole charity walk

Date: 6th June, 2009

Day: Saturday

Time: 6.15am meet at CCK MRT, Event starts at 7.30am at Pasir Ris Park

Some of your t-shirts are with me, will pass to you guys that day.

Points to Note from the Organiser
  • Goodie Bag will only be given out upon production of the Goodie Bag Ticket, so please remember to bring the ticket.
  • Pack lightly as you will be carrying your shoes and your own bag.
    Bring a poncho in case it drizzles.
  • If you are not feeling well, we advised that you rest at home.
  • Before the event, do spend some time walking around barefoot to pre-condition your feet. The first 10 mins may be the most difficult.
  • When walking barefoot, always step straight down. Never allow your bare feet to kick, shuffle, or drag along the ground. It is lateral movement that produces the great majority of risk of cutting from any sharp surfaces.
Do sleep early the night before.
