New Positions Opened

Dear Members of Mixed Rice,

Good news to share. All of us have been promoted to Directors (of our individual department). As of now, we shall be known as the Board of Directors (whether or not your position has the term 'Director' in it", instead of some officer or in charge. These positions (referring to officers and ICs), shall be left to future members, so we will all have assistants in our individual departments etc.

Meanwhile, we have new positions opened for Mixed Rice. Positions are as follow.

Secretary

  • In charge of Updating members of Upcoming activities
  • Record Minutes during Discussion
  • Send a summary of minutes to the Director and absentees
  • Remind Members of Activities the day before
  • Works closely with Director and Events Coordinator.

Position is Opened to all members of Mixed Rice.


Human Resource Personnel

  • In charge of recruiting members
  • Assessing Potential Members
  • Keep a Profile of Current Members
  • Works closely with Welfare In Charge

Position is Opened to all members of Mixed Rice.


Web Master

  • Maintain the Mixed Rice Blog regularly
  • Improve the site’s attractiveness
  • Upload Pictures of Mixed Rice outings
  • Change the outlook of Mixed Rice Blog quarterly year
  • Works closely with Creative Director

Position is Opened to all members of Mixed Rice.


Chief Executive Officer
  • Create Mission and Vision for Mixed Rice
  • Set Goals and Aims (Both long-term and short-term)
  • Review the Goals and Aims Bi-Annually
  • Ensure all the Directors fulfill their roles
  • All Discussions come with a conclusion (In other words, be a bad guy and avoid procrastination)
  • Works closely with Board of Directors

Position is Opened to the Board of Directors only.

As we are pretty short handed, all Directors are allowed (and strongly encouraged) to apply for another position, till more members are recruited to relieve our burden a little.
